How I sold my gold bullion

I am 44, male, I live in London with my girlfriend. I"m an IT specialist and I work for one of the biggest computing companies in the country. One day, I decided to sell some gold bullion bars I had been keeping in my flat for several years. My grandfather was a famous investor and he had given the bars to me several years before. I wanted to sell them and buy a car for my girlfriend. A friend of mine recommended me to an investor who would like to buy the gold. However, the person wanted to see the bars before he decided to pay for them. So we arranged a meeting. The investor lived in Brighton, so I went there with a suitcase full of gold. I stayed in a small guesthouse and hoped I didn"t look rich. However, the receptionist accidentally saw the gold bullion bars as she was as I was checking in. I was really afraid because you never know who people around you are. To feel safer, I stayed in my room for two days. I wanted to be sure nobody got a chance to steal my gold. Then it was time to meet the guy. I packed my suitcase again and left. We met at his place. He liked the gold and paid me the money we had agreed on. Today I gave my girlfriend a present: the brad new car she had always dreamed of. She was really happy but of course, she had no idea where I got the money to buy it.
